Luiz Eduardo Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mainor Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Mario Padilla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LinuX F.C.! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for SeleSantos FC. Juninho Sergipano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mainor Martinez. 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Braga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mainor Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cássio Nunes hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Sena to maneuver through the defense. If Luiz Eduardo Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mainor Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Cauan Cordeiro got a free kick in the 41st minute. Elias Mesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Oliveira having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pepe Araya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cássio Nunes's late challenge caught a LinuX F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Nunes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th play minute Cássio Nunes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mainor Martinez. 0-3. Mainor Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the game, Cauan Cordeiro landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Pepe Araya fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LinuX F.C.'s protests and gave Pepe Araya a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marcelinho Coelho hit a great ball. Roberto Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Mesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, SeleSantos FC's Luiz Eduardo Braga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Sena in the 80th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Mainor Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LinuX F.C.'s Mainor Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save LinuX F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when LinuX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Lankaster didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Luiz Eduardo Braga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mainor Martinez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SeleSantos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
