The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodoro Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. AC Korban's Teodoro Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Hernández in the 6th minute of play. Teodoro Vinhas came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by ViCeNzA's Wellington Flores. But to his dismay, Wellington Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teodoro Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long Stora in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute ViCeNzA were awarded a corner. Matías Hernández went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ViCeNzA's Matías Hernández to fire away a dangerous shot which Teodoro Vinhas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Long Stora spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of AC Korban's goal. Teodoro Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Long Stora, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ViCeNzA from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Silvinho da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Linhares hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Matías Hernández managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ViCeNzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Hernández was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC Korban's Teodoro Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Hernández in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Wellington Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Neto to make the kick off. Teodoro Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Hernández in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Long Stora in the 64th minute of play forced AC Korban's goalkeeper Teodoro Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Neto in the 68th minute of play. Long Stora was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. ViCeNzA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sergio Livingstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Neto in the 77th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goalkeeper Teodoro Vinhas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Moreau. AC Korban's Teodoro Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save AC Korban from getting a goal against them. Sergio Livingstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Primo in the 94th minute of the match.
