Dennis Rechnitzer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Lunáticos from getting a goal against them. Gaby Milito made a great header on Caatiba MZC's corner, it was just that Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer managed to reach the ball for a save. After 20 played minutes Lunáticos got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Cearense. In the 28th minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Gaby Milito went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Caatiba MZC's corner Gaby Milito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dennis Rechnitzer quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Rechnitzer. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Wilian Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ergo Muro was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Niceto Ihazintu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dennis Rechnitzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caatiba MZC. Niceto Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Niceto Ihazintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caatiba MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Niceto Ihazintu made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilian Lopez got free with Ergo Muro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 56 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caatiba MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lunáticos's Zé Pedro Cearense managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fahl Figueroa in the 60 minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Niceto Ihazintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Rechnitzer. Lunáticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Ihazintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 68 played minutes, Lunáticos's Luiz Gustavo Romero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ergo Muro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lunáticos reached it. Niceto Ihazintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Rechnitzer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Caatiba MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaby Milito in the 71st minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Niceto Ihazintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Niceto Ihazintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennis Rechnitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
