An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Linhares in the 14th minute of play forced AMÉRICA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oséas Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Korban's Sílvio Luiz Linhares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oséas Trancoso. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, AC Korban's Lelo Alfaridzi got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Júlio Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AMÉRICA F.C.'s zone, Júlio Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Trancoso came out of the goal and Júlio Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kléber da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber da Silveira to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, AC Korban's Sílvio Luiz Linhares made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oséas Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! AC Korban's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber da Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséas Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, AMÉRICA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kléber da Silveira came free, but Oséas Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Berger got free with Teodoro Vinhas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of AC Korban booed when AMÉRICA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Korban had played much better football throughout.
