The tension between the Florida Gulf Coast and the Creekers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Eleuterio Fiz got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Nardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Florida Gulf Coast from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Luis Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Gines. After 28 minutes Creekers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John James who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Florida Gulf Coast's corner John James fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jude Crocker quite easily take care of the ball. Eleuterio Fiz got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 30th minute, Eleuterio Fiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Lukáš Katačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Katačić in the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lukáš Katačić to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 55 minutes Sixto Bitxintxo got an excellent opportunity and fired away a shot on goal, but Jude Crocker was perfectly placed and executed a great save. Jude Crocker stood somewhat misplaced when Lukáš Katačić came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 55 minute. In the 61st minute, Geronimo Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lukáš Katačić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Katačić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Nardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Tyszka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Nardo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Riley Trotter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 1-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Riley Trotter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Vistruario came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riley Trotter took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Nardo. Luis Nardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Florida Gulf Coast getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sixto Bitxintxo hit a great ball. If Ksawery Tyszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukáš Katačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jude Crocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Veniamin Tziortzopoulos. Luis Nardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riley Trotter's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Veniamin Tziortzopoulos notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo. Luis Nardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Creekers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Florida Gulf Coast had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
