Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Benedykt Lanczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes Florida Gulf Coast's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mikayıl Malişov who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's corner Ahmet Harun Siraceddin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luis Nardo quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Ilias Panoulias notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Florida Gulf Coast's Luis Nardo. Luis Nardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Panoulias in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Florida Gulf Coast got a corner. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. John James ran over to the corner to take the kick. John James made a great header on Florida Gulf Coast's corner, it was just that Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak managed to reach the ball for a save. Jem Makaronas got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lukáš Katačić. In the 95th minute of the match, Ilias Panoulias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luis Nardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
