In the 12th minute, Nestor Inko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes in the game Stefanos Zivopoulos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ellis Peterson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Inko in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Karvouniaris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Florida Gulf Coast fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Florida Gulf Coast's Nestor Inko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luis Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Kaligas in the 26th minute of play. If Nestor Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, one of Glyka Nera FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Glyka Nera FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alexander-James Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glyka Nera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander-James Ibrahimović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Nardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Geronimo Bonadona got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Bitxintxo to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Nestor Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sakis Karvouniaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amar Živanović got free with Luis Nardo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute of the game Manolis Petrochilos made a throw-in which Zacharias Kaligas played forward. Geronimo Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Stefanos Zivopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Glyka Nera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amar Živanović to maneuver through the defense. When Nestor Inko came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Florida Gulf Coast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Inko couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Nestor Inko got a free kick in the 88th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Florida Gulf Coast fully deserved thier win.
