The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Tuste helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes ViCeNzA got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Tuste. In the 7th minute Matías Hernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Gines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Livingstone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Creekers were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after ViCeNzA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saverio Vistruario took the corner. A nice corner shot did that William Kerns got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergio Livingstone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sergio Livingstone had great luck who in the 11thth minute grab hold of the ball when William Kerns from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 16 minutes into the game, Ronald Nataprawira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ViCeNzA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creekers the free kick. After 17 played minutes ViCeNzA got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Nataprawira. Jude Crocker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Long Stora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Livingstone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ladislao Gines showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ViCeNzA's zone, Ladislao Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Livingstone came out of the goal and Ladislao Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Hernández in the 28th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Gines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Livingstone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Hernández in the 31st minute of the match. Ladislao Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Sergio Livingstone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Saverio Vistruario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Creekers's Riley Trotter was substituted for Ladislao Gines. ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes ViCeNzA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saverio Vistruario who took care of the corner kick.
