In the 16th minute of the match Huckebein got a corner. the sword of Damocles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marin Jumancă might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 张旭傲. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Jumancă ran back to his position shaking his head. After 33 played minutes Huckebein got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Augustyn. The throw-in from Lucjan Kendra in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by the sword of Damocles's 白益永. In the 35th minute, Benito Cala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 巩天帆 in the 39th minute of play forced Huckebein's goalkeeper Apolo Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Selim Gulson in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Huckebein getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lucjan Kendra hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Sérgio Vidal got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Apolo Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yavuz Selim Gulson in the 52nd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 张旭傲 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Jumancă, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute Marin Jumancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 张旭傲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 白益永 hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, 白益永 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. the sword of Damocles succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Huckebein had controlled the match.
