Maximino Pudes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gernando Paes came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximino Pudes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Gernando Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Pudes in the 6th minute of play. When Nereo Florian fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barsa FC's protests and gave Nereo Florian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Florian to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Lúcio Pitta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barsa FC's Vinicio Frederico didn't even have to move. Gernando Paes made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Eustacio Astrada sent off a good shot on target. Gernando Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Maximino Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Paes having to interfere. Gernando Paes made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Nereo Florian sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Florian in the 25th minute of play forced Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Gernando Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nas Horas Vagas F.C defense, Nereo Florian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Paes. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Paes should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's Rosendo Gorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernando Paes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Maximino Pudes made a precise shot to the right of Gernando Paes. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's attentive Nelson Dantas managed to snatch the ball when Delmar Savier made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Pitta was the one to do the kick off. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Gorri in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Barsa FC's Eustacio Astrada made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gernando Paes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gernando Paes came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Barsa FC's Rosendo Gorri. But to his dismay, Rosendo Gorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Gernando Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Gorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nereo Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Paes came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Barsa FC's Rosendo Gorri. But to his dismay, Rosendo Gorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Gernando Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybek Lami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Fiori Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Nas Horas Vagas F.C defense, Rosendo Gorri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Paes. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Paes should have stopped the shot. Gernando Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Gorri went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score.
