AC Korban's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nas Horas Vagas F.C the free kick. In the 17th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, João Augusto Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Nas Horas Vagas F.C defense, Elivélton Palmeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Paes. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Paes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Pirani in the 29th minute of play forced Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Gernando Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Igor Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Korban fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 46 minutes into the game, Durval Garcia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Nelson Dantas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. João Augusto Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half AC Korban were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Pitta was the one to do the kick off. Gernando Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Albuquerque in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Igor Albuquerque notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes. Gernando Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 69 minutes of play, AC Korban's Giovani Pirani made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gernando Paes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gernando Paes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Albuquerque in the 73rd minute. Igor Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gernando Paes made a huge save. Gernando Paes made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Igor Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Gernando Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Garcia. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Giovani Pirani hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Guerra. After recieving a nice pass, AC Korban's Igor Albuquerque tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Nas Horas Vagas F.C from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Nas Horas Vagas F.C getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Nelson Dantas hit a great ball. Igor Albuquerque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gernando Paes came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Albuquerque slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded AC Korban left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nas Horas Vagas F.C.
