Per-Åke Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Leandro de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Donato Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Åke Vestlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Per-Åke Vestlund came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Oscar Prado. But to his dismay, Oscar Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Söderbröder booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Östman got free with Amadeu Prado in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Edmund Östman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeu Prado, 2-2. Per-Åke Vestlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Prado in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Drewitz got free with Amadeu Prado in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rickard Drewitz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 35th playminute. Per-Åke Vestlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Bastos in the 38th minute of the match. Nelson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Prado scored 3-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Åke Vestlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Sport Club Mavericks's Romário Senadović was substituted for Oscar Prado. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romário Senadović to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Bastos. Per-Åke Vestlund made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Virgílio Bastos sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Virgílio Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Bastos came free, but Per-Åke Vestlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goalkeeper Per-Åke Vestlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Senadović. In the 74th match minute, Söderbröder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Kullander to maneuver through the defense. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Östman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Aníbal de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Senadović came free, but Per-Åke Vestlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eugênio Leme hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's William Jönsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Prado narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
