Johannes Smitt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Börge Kristiansson 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Eneto Bruñon put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneto Bruñon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s zone, Johannes Smitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helder Marty came out of the goal and Johannes Smitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helder Marty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börge Kristiansson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a little luck, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Helder Marty got control of the ball when Börge Kristiansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a freekick which was hit by Mercurio Unanue. After 41 minutes, Angelo Maujo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► and the Strömsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Maujo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Helder Marty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ariando Belda fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Helder Marty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Maujo was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, David Nyman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helder Marty. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Nyman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 62 played minutes, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Mercurio Unanue shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Albohm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► reached it. In the 63rd minute, Thomas Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mercurio Unanue was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Börge Kristiansson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börge Kristiansson couldn't finish the play. Helder Marty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Lövkvist in the 73rd minute of the match. If Thomas Lövkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustaf Åström hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mercurio Unanue. Angelo Maujo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Albohm having to interfere.
