Hlonda Boyz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Sedzikowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Napoleon Szkarpiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Varela in the 14th minute of the match. Dráuzio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Sedzikowski in the 23rd minute of play. Teodoro Diniz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Zjawin in the 27th minute of the match. Hlonda Boyz's Napoleon Szkarpiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Varela in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes, Hlonda Boyz's Radomir Kosakowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dráuzio Borges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hlonda Boyz reached it. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Dráuzio Borges got control of the ball when Damazy Gorzkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hlonda Boyz booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Napoleon Szkarpiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Víktor Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Teodoro Diniz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ruy Dantas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Vladimir Lima got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Falcão during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evaristo Falcão hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Teodoro Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandelocos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hlonda Boyz the free kick.
