The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Söderbröder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Allbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Joachim Allbom put in a rough tackle. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Per-Åke Vestlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Mattos in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Rickard Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Lima. With 35 minutes on the clock, Mauro Galvão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Bandelocos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bandelocos:s Dráuzio Borges showed great skill when he stopped Edmund Östman:s penalty. Per-Åke Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eurico Freitas hit a great ball. Edmund Östman, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dráuzio Borges made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Edmund Östman sent off a good shot on target. Rickard Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dráuzio Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Diniz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goalkeeper Per-Åke Vestlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Varela. Teodoro Dinizs short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Per-Åke Vestlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Per-Åke Vestlund was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Teodoro Diniz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro Diniz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Per-Åke Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Teodoro Diniz got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 68 played minutes Söderbröder got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Igelström. After 72 played minutes Söderbröder got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Ahlfors. Ruy Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Åke Vestlund having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Östman came free, but Dráuzio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Åke Vestlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Diniz in the 85th minute of the match. Dráuzio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Östman in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Chaves.
