The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Östman's late challenge caught a FC Klavertje Vier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Per-Åke Vestlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Verengen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Valdemar Myhr kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Fernand De Koster hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Igelström kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Rickard Drewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerry Verengen to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Bakayoko got free with Per-Åke Vestlund in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimmy Viergever didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Fernand De Koster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Åke Vestlund was a little too slow when Lars De Kerpel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Johan Bakayoko could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Per-Åke Vestlund however easily saved by the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goal looked a bit too open when Lars De Kerpel came free, but Per-Åke Vestlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Söderbröder's Per-Åke Vestlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Söderbröder from getting a goal against them.
