A collision led to Bicicleta F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Amador Jorrin hit a great ball. Borussia Dortmund MZB's José Vítor Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Sotil in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Eleuterio Sotil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bicicleta F.C. and the Borussia Dortmund MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleuterio Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Savioli got free with Gilberto Lauaxeta in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Fabiano Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borussia Dortmund MZB's José Vítor Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Iruinea in the 33rd minute of play. Oscar Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. José Vítor Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Feliu in the 38th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bicicleta F.C.'s Cristobal Blasi was substituted for Saul Teodor. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matheus Savioli to make the kick off. José Vítor Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgardo Iruinea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Válter Dionísio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Lauaxeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Luís Fabiano Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Válter Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters rose to their feet, but Válter Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Lauaxeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Fabiano Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 96th minute, Segundo Feliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bicicleta F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the final whistle sounded Bicicleta F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borussia Dortmund MZB.
