In the 3rd minute of the match David Van den Gans sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Albohm skillfully saved the ball. Jerry Verengen scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Albohm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Klavertje Vier's Henrik Huyberechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Klavertje Vier from getting a goal against them. David Nyman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrik Huyberechts came out and tried to block the shot, but David Nyman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. David Nyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Huyberechts having to make a save. Henrik Huyberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Nyman in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Strömsbro IF's David Nyman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrik Huyberechts. Henrik Huyberechts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 23rd minute Börge Kristiansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Huyberechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Börge Kristiansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Klavertje Vier the free kick. After 28 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Börge Kristiansson. Henrik Huyberechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, David Nyman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henrik Huyberechts. The goal made the score 3-1. Börge Kristiansson in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrik Huyberechts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. David Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Verengen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Börge Kristiansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Huyberechts having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Kristiansson came free, but Henrik Huyberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Jansson to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Verengen in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Börge Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. FC Klavertje Vier's Gery De Clercq was substituted for Lars De Kerpel. FC Klavertje Vier's Wesley Ryers was substituted for Bjorn Blocks. FC Klavertje Vier's Henrik Huyberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 72nd minute of play. Börge Kristiansson took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Huyberechts. Henrik Huyberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Börge Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Huyberechts having to interfere. Henrik Huyberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Kristiansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strömsbro IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
