Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oscar Prado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Clemente Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Burr in the 6th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Prado came free, but Clemente Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Prado in the 11th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Clemente Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jamel Cronshagen fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Pipon Pipon's protests and gave Jamel Cronshagen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jamel Cronshagen got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 13 played minutes, Sport Club Mavericks's Leandro de Castro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Armani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sport Club Mavericks reached it. Amadeu Prado came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Pipon Pipon's Rene Burr. But to his dismay, Rene Burr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Prado in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Armani saved C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting behind. Oscar Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal de Sena in the 25th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Clemente Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Lauro Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Sarmento hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Lanny Valle took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Amadeu Prado to make any attempt to save it. Clemente Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Prado in the 42nd minute of the match. Jamel Cronshagen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Prado came free, but Clemente Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Donato Saraiva replaced Virgílio Bastos. Sport Club Mavericks's Romário Senadović was substituted for Oscar Prado. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lanny Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Rene Burr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Mavericks the free kick. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rene Burr hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro de Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Jerold Floyd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Prado skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Donato Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Burr took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Prado. Amadeu Prado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Romário Senadović could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Clemente Armani however easily saved by the left post. With 73 minutes on the clock, Eugênio Leme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd minute, one of Sport Club Mavericks:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sport Club Mavericks. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Burr in the 78th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal de Sena. Lanny Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Amadeu Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Senadović in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clemente Armani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romário Senadović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Freddie Henderson got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Donato Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romário Senadović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Clemente Armani made a huge save. When Leandro de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro de Castro couldn't finish the play. C. A. Pipon Pipon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
