Alberto Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Hüseyin Can Timurkan sent off a good shot on target. If Ümit Durukan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bandelocos's Basílio de Mendonça in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Tatangelos's goalie prevented a goal.

After a rather tough play, Los Tatangelos's Hüseyin Can Timurkan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alberto Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Can Timurkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Can Timurkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Los Tatangelos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
