Johan Bakayoko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 19 minutes into the game, Sérgio Grandi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Henrik Huyberechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Grandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand De Koster came free, but Agnaldo do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Verengen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agnaldo do Valle firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Jurassic Monsters SA's Agnaldo do Valle got control of the ball when Johan Bakayoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Bakayoko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Agnaldo do Valle made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Fernand De Koster left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 47th minute of the match, Johan Bakayoko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agnaldo do Valle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Johan Bakayoko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agnaldo do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Jurassic Monsters SA were furious when Remo Rodrigues was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 59th minute, Fernand De Koster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernand De Koster took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agnaldo do Valle. Agnaldo do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 69th minute Bjorn Blocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Bakayoko in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agnaldo do Valle saved Jurassic Monsters SA from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Jerry Verengen made a precise shot to the right of Agnaldo do Valle. Jurassic Monsters SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. When Sérgio Grandi came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Jurassic Monsters SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Grandi couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Sebastião Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Huyberechts. FC Klavertje Vier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3.
