Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Coley in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match C. A. Pipon Pipon got a corner. Los Tatangelos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lanny Valle ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clemente Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ümit Durukan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berker Rıza Erginer took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Armani. Clemente Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ümit Durukan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Clemente Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Tatangelos. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Michael Scott took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tamer Siraceddin. Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kelly Hopson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jerold Floyd's late challenge caught a Los Tatangelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Can Timurkan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Armani. Hüseyin Can Timurkan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Victor Coley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tamer Siraceddin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freddie Henderson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
