Jânio Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jânio Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onesime Haaeman in the 26th minute of play. Alfonso Sciarretta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jânio Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guará FC's goalkeeper Jânio Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Sciarretta in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jânio Furlan saved Guará FC from getting behind. After having played for 43 minutes, Onesime Haaeman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 贵阳观山湖联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but Onesime Haaeman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Sciarretta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Furlan having to interfere. After the first half 贵阳观山湖联队 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
