An unexpectedly hard shot by 余义枫 in the 16th minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Victor Valdez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damon Harrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Victor Valdez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 余义枫's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Valdez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ib Yattara during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Melum to maneuver through the defense. Kris Devine took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Valdez. Victor Valdez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 30th minute 余义枫 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Valdez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 余义枫 was the one to do the kick off. POPODARA F.C's Victor Valdez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save POPODARA F.C from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the game, 余义枫 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Valdez. 余义枫 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Victor Valdez made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when 余义枫 sent off a good shot on target. islahiye spor's Santo Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Ivar Kalland in the 63rd minute of play. Damon Harrington charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damon Harrington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to islahiye spor getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. 余义枫 hit a great ball. Santo Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ib Yattara, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, POPODARA F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 余义枫 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tor-Ivar Kalland managed to get in a good position for a shot. POPODARA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor-Ivar Kalland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 余义枫's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Victor Valdez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. islahiye spor were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after POPODARA F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. John-Paul Bannister took the corner. islahiye spor's John-Paul Bannister was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Valdez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Santo Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Ivar Kalland in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched islahiye spor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
