The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when C.A. Identidad Soberana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Obarenes, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Pillado in the 9th minute of play forced C.A. Identidad Soberana's goalkeeper Victorino Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomez Berrahondo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, one of C.A. GUAYACO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. GUAYACO. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Cordaryal in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. In the 16th minute Sérgio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Sérgio Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Identidad Soberana's Victorino Diagur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Sérgio Silveira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victorino Diagur. Oso Amezaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Jago's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 邵超耀 in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oso Amezaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Jago in the 25th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Identidad Soberana's 邵超耀 got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Sérgio Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Diagur. C.A. Identidad Soberana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Agustin Pillado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Diagur having to interfere. Sérgio Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when C.A. Identidad Soberana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Canton. After the first half C.A. GUAYACO were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 邵超耀 made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, C.A. Identidad Soberana's 邵超耀 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oso Amezaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Identidad Soberana's zone, Sérgio Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Diagur came out of the goal and Sérgio Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Agustin Pillado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Victorino Diagur, passed just outside the right post. Victorino Diagur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Pillado in the 63rd minute. C.A. GUAYACO's Sérgio Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Gutierrez Castorena replaced Virgilio Canton. C.A. Identidad Soberana were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after C.A. GUAYACO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruben Cordaryal took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in 邵超耀 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Sérgio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfaro Moreno in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match C.A. GUAYACO got a corner. C.A. Identidad Soberana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Obarenes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Obarenes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victorino Diagur quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 84 minutes, Sérgio Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfaro Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gutierrez Castorena hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, C.A. Identidad Soberana's Victorino Diagur got control of the ball when Sérgio Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Alfaro Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Victorino Diagur. C.A. Identidad Soberana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When the match was over C.A. GUAYACO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A. Identidad Soberana throughout the match.
