The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Oltean got free with Victorino Diagur in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Eliseo Berasko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Diagur. Eliseo Berasko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. C.A. Identidad Soberana's Victorino Diagur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Identidad Soberana from getting a goal against them. Victorino Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Oltean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atlético Nacional's Eric Oltean got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Havier to strike the kick off in the second half. Victorino Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Beltran in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Hao Li Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Oltean in the 59th minute of play forced C.A. Identidad Soberana's goalkeeper Victorino Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Atlético Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kang Wei Yue to maneuver through the defense.
