The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Estopinal got free with José Carlos Torres in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Melquiades Beila fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terapia Intensiva's protests and gave Melquiades Beila a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Carlos Torres made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jimmy Estopinal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. GUAYACO's Jimmy Estopinal. But to his dismay, Jimmy Estopinal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lorenzo Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arias Burgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper José Carlos Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy Estopinal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Jimmy Estopinal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Carlos Torres. Terapia Intensiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmy Estopinal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jimmy Estopinal came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Carlos Torres could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gomez Berrahondo hit a great ball. José Carlos Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Estopinal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Batista Fuica got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Tobias Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terapia Intensiva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Marino Grazia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Estopinal in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Estopinal in the 70th minute of play forced Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper José Carlos Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Batista Fuica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Carlos Torres came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. GUAYACO's Jimmy Estopinal. But to his dismay, Jimmy Estopinal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Agustin Pillado replaced Fernandez Poblaciones. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gomez Berrahondo hit a great ball. If Elias Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Siro Porfirio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. C.A. GUAYACO were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
