The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Sadurni in the 2nd minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Arias Burgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Tomás Bernard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arias Burgo skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Jorge Freitas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jurand Bryk. Jorge Freitas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Domiku came free, but Arias Burgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marino Grazia got free with Jurand Bryk in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimmy Estopinal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jurand Bryk made a huge save. C.A. GUAYACO's Jimmy Estopinal managed to work through Bairoletto FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jimmy Estopinal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 37 minutes into the game, Diego Satordi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arias Burgo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Diego Satordi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bairoletto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Satordi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arias Burgo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bairoletto FC booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Estopinal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Gutierrez Castorena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Tomás Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arias Burgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Jurand Bryk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Estopinal, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Sadurni got free with Arias Burgo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A. GUAYACO's Arias Burgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Satordi in the 55th minute of play. Marino Grazia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurand Bryk having to make a save. In the 64th minute of the match, Israel Sadurni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arias Burgo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 67 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Estopinal came free, but Jurand Bryk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Sadurni in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arias Burgo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gerardo Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Estopinal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Arias Burgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Sadurni in the 86th minute of the match. Jimmy Estopinal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurand Bryk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Satordi. The Bairoletto FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented C.A. GUAYACO from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
