Aurelian Vârlan came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Bendito Sea El Fernet's Mario Tipi. But to his dismay, Mario Tipi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Rosendo Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rosendo Todor made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Vârlan. Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando got control of the ball when Cornel Mihai tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cornel Mihai got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Federico Normando was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Cornel Mihai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cornel Mihai really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Aurelian Vârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Tipi in the 33rd minute of the match. Mario Tipi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gică Aldulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gică Aldulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gică Aldulescu. 40 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Bertin came free, but Aurelian Vârlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Donato Emmanuel got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Cornel Mihai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Jeronimo Bertin made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Vârlan. Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Bendito Sea El Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Bertin was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Vârlan was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 54th minute Rosendo Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Vârlan having to interfere. Rosendo Todor might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Vârlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rosendo Todor ran back to his position shaking his head. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Bertin in the 65th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Bendito Sea El Fernet got a freekick which was hit by Mario Tipi. During the 73rd minute of the match Gică Aldulescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gică Aldulescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gică Aldulescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Baldomiro Guerrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Aurelian Vârlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Bertin. Aurelian Vârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Guerrero in the 81st minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Clemente Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bendito Sea El Fernet and the Minerul Baita -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clemente Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bendito Sea El Fernet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
