With an all-out effort, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicasio Veremundo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Cidro in the 11th minute. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Fabricio Loiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Andone in the 13th minute of play. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Tiberiu Andone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Beturian in the 29th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tiberiu Andone fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooL's protests and gave Tiberiu Andone a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Andone to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Cidro went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Fabricio Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Andone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Fabricio Loiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Molodețiu in the 39th minute of play. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Cidro in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Beturian came free, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save GoooooL from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the GoooooL defense, Hipolito Cidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. The GoooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihăiţă Ştefulescu should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiberiu Andone to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of GoooooL booed when Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Beturian came free, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Hipolito Cidro. But to his dismay, Hipolito Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Reynaldo Llorenc got a free kick in the 69th minute. GoooooL's Emanuel Cigu suffered a sore knee after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 71 minutes into the game, Nicasio Veremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoooooL the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Nicasio Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Floricel. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by GoooooL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andres Berasko was slow to take the kick. During this time Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's players had a chance to rest. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Andres Berasko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88th minute Hipolito Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, GoooooL's Marcel Molodețiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabricio Loiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
