Karasuno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Orlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Rivas came free, but João Augusto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper João Augusto Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Rivas. Paulino Rivas in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Augusto Barbosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elvio Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Abilio came free, but João Augusto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Guerra lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 24 minutes into the game, one of Nas Horas Vagas F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's João Augusto Barbosa got control of the ball when Alfonso Karmel tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Augusto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Rivas in the 37th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, João Augusto Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Karasuno's Paulino Rivas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Augusto Barbosa. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Rivas to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Orlin took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Barbosa. João Augusto Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 63 minutes, Paulino Rivas made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's João Augusto Barbosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Augusto Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Rivas in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Augusto Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Karmel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Augusto Barbosa was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. João Augusto Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Rivas in the 75th minute of the match. João Augusto Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Paulino Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karasuno fully deserved thier win.
