When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Leo Gora sped through Karasuno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Fraco. A collision led to Karasuno getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ariel Koldobika hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Rodas during the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Karasuno's Fermin Estevez got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Karasuno's zone, Generoso Bonifaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Fraco came out of the goal and Generoso Bonifaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Alfredo Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Karasuno got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Koldobika. Lucas Fraco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Caetano went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 58 played minutes Karasuno got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Koldobika. In the 61st minute, Clodoveo Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Alfonso Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Nahitantino defense, Alfonso Karmel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Vergaray. The Nahitantino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Vergaray should have stopped the shot. Paulino Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Illan might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Fraco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Illan ran back to his position shaking his head. Nahitantino's Clodoveo Eladio was substituted for Leo Gora. Lucas Fraco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Bonifaco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Fraco having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Higinio Illan took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Lucas Fraco to make any attempt to save it. The Karasuno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nahitantino were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
