When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Eustaquio Tiadoro took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Haroldo Pastore to make any attempt to save it. Mario Tipi took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Pastore. Haroldo Pastore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Tiadoro made the kick off in the second half. MFD Eindhoven's Haroldo Pastore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Tiadoro in the 52nd minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, MFD Eindhoven's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Igon came free, but Haroldo Pastore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Urtubia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maule having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Tiadoro notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of MFD Eindhoven's Haroldo Pastore. Haroldo Pastore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Marasso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomás Maule firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Haroldo Pastore was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Haroldo Pastore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bendito Sea El Fernet walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
