The supporters of Parque Europa FC booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliksas Fenichev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toro Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Täger having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Martínez to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toro Martínez in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Täger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 53 played minutes Parque Europa FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Ryynänen. Emiliano Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Selatse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Froilan Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 69th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Parque Europa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Despidida AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
