The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, C.A.M.P's Laureano Beliran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dillon McDonough narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Laureano Beliran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dillon McDonough was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Sterling Sosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Godofredo Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, Laureano Beliran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dillon McDonough. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dillon McDonough should have stopped the shot. Laureano Beliran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dillon McDonough having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Beliran in the 18th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dillon McDonough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Beliran in the 20th minute of the match. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Beliran in the 23rd minute of play. Dillon McDonough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Beliran, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Nicky Cavazos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Godofredo Donzel made a huge save. But to his dismay, Laureano Beliran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Laureano Beliran charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Beliran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when C.A.M.P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Laureano Beliran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Laureano Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Laureano Beliran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gerardo Cordairo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dillon McDonough was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Conrad Elliott was substituted for Colby Roth. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.M.P's Laureano Beliran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dillon McDonough. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dillon McDonough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Beliran. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Beliran in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dillon McDonough saved Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Joseph during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Henry Joseph got a free kick in the 65th minute. C.A.M.P made a substitution. Siro Gimenez replaced Gerardo Cordairo. The supporters of C.A.M.P booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dillon McDonough made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Beliran in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Gimenez during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A.M.P getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Siro Gimenez hit a great ball. Dillon McDonough made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Anselmo Hug sent off a good shot on target. Dillon McDonough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Beliran in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded C.A.M.P left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Miami Futbol Club.
