Los Gallos's Primitivo Chago was substituted for Fernando Osoitz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xalbador Valluerca to make the kick off. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Igor Urdaspal hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
