Jesus Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Achtung Babies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Florinio to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Beltrán made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Eustaquio Castorena sent off a good shot on target. Hermengildo Dalmai kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Diego Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Iturrate having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Xelo Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Beltrán was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Florencio Iturrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Tajo in the 25th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Conrao. Santiago Beltrán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xelo Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Florencio Iturrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Tajo in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Xelo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Beltrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Diego Tajo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Iturrate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Achtung Babies were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xelo Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. When Eriberto Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achtung Babies's protests and gave Eriberto Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Eriberto Florinio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Beltrán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xelo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Xelo Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Achtung Babies's Santiago Beltrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valery Avienzo in the 65th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Octavio Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valery Avienzo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Beltrán. Santiago Beltrán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
