Froilan Lohitzun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 22 minutes of play, Leones FC's Serafin Hori made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Leonardo Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arnaldo Leguizamón hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Isótopos V.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Lohitzun to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Hori in the 35th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Juan Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Serafin Hori sped through Isótopos V.M.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Furtado. After 41 minutes, Silverio Estefan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isótopos V.M. and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Isótopos V.M.'s Silverio Estefan got a free kick in the 41st minute.

53 minutes into the game, Javier Firmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isótopos V.M. the free kick. Javier Firmo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Merentiel in the 57th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Luis Quirce replaced Froilan Lohitzun. After a rather tough play, Isótopos V.M.'s Blas Brun got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Isótopos V.M.'s Juan Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Hori in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Isótopos V.M.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amado Jordy was slow to take the kick. During this time Leones FC's players had a chance to rest. After 71 minutes, Miguel Merentiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isótopos V.M. and the Leones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the game, Nicanor Florinio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Juan Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafin Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafin Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes of play, Leones FC's Serafin Hori made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Brun in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Isótopos V.M. booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Obeko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isótopos V.M.'s Luis Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Leones FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Isótopos V.M. side.
