Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Natalio Laurin got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Natalio Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Obeko came out of the goal and Natalio Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Calvino fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Alberto Calvino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Arnoldo Weterio hit a great ball. Natalio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aureliano Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Hori to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Hori came free, but Arnulfo Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Javier Firmo hit a great ball. Carlos Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Hori in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnulfo Nataniel saved Cachiyuyo EAS from getting behind. Arnulfo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Calixto during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Melchor Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, Natalio Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Hori in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Nataniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Natalio Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
