Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel-Omar Batista started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Gabriel-Omar Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belchior Saldanha came out of the goal and Gabriel-Omar Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gabriel-Omar Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Saldanha was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 13th minute of play. Belchior Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ★Independiente Ψ★'s zone, Jan-Olof Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Iigo came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Maximiliano Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ★Independiente Ψ★ from getting a goal against them. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 34th minute of play. When Gabriel-Omar Batista came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the ★Independiente Ψ★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel-Omar Batista couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Eliasson got free with Maximiliano Iigo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Olof Eliasson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 46thth minute. Though ot was a great shot ★Independiente Ψ★'s keeper Maximiliano Iigo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfred Vrede stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belchior Saldanha having to interfere. ★Independiente Ψ★ made a substitution. Fang Sheng Qing replaced Jay-Jay Okocha. Fang Sheng Qing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gabriel-Omar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel-Omar Batista scored 0-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Belchior Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel-Omar Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belchior Saldanha having to interfere. Gabriel-Omar Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belchior Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.
