After a defensive mix-up in Achtung Babies's zone, Gualterio Venerando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Velloso came out of the goal and Gualterio Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Venerando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Eurico Velloso made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Dominix in the 24th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Dominix. Achtung Babies's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ambrosio Dominix 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 35th minute Ambrosio Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Nordal in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Modestio in the 75th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
