Niceto Nafarroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Armando Basajaun made a huge save. In the 8th minute Simbo FC were awarded a corner. Sabri Ravelli went to the cornerflag to take it. 14 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Sacristán came free, but Armando Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Maidana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mías Khalifa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Liviu Gherghescu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Oso Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oso Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Teofilo Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, David Belasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Khalifa came out of the goal and David Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Basajaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Trinidad, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Sacristán in the 34th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miliano Sacristán in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabri Ravelli was slow to take the kick. During this time Simbo FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 41st match minute, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Maidana to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Simbo FC made a substitution. Tincho Palermo replaced Miliano Sacristán. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Maidana to make the kick off. Tincho Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Basajaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tincho Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Maidana in the 61st minute of the match. Teofilo Maidana struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mías Khalifa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cartero de Agronomia F.C.. Simbo FC made a substitution. Nestor Sancho replaced Boleslaw Sidorowicz. A collision led to Simbo FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sabri Ravelli hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Maidana in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mías Khalifa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Honorato Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Fabian Urdaspal was substituted for Teofilo Maidana. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. made a substitution. Evaristo Errando replaced Honorio Hever. 72 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tincho Palermo came free, but Armando Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes in the game Anselmo Leocadio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Niceto Nafarroa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tincho Palermo in the 87th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Basajaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tincho Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Nestor Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Fabian Urdaspal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mías Khalifa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
