In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Xavier got free with Eurico Velloso in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Urdaspal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eurico Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Eurico Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Achtung Babies from getting a goal against them. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Mainer in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabian Urdaspal made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fabian Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Urdaspal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Achtung Babies's Elpidio Grabiel got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Fabian Urdaspal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Maidana came free, but Eurico Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Basajaun having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Teofilo Maidana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Velloso. Achtung Babies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eurico Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Maidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. David Belasko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eurico Velloso. Achtung Babies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. had played much better football throughout.
