Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Qian Peng in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Achtung Babies's zone, Kerimhan Özonder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Velloso came out of the goal and Kerimhan Özonder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Elpidio Grabiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Qian Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Dinç Tuncay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Héctor Mainer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kiliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Achtung Babies booed when Altos Gatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Barto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
