Arkadiusz Piatek might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Salvidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkadiusz Piatek ran back to his position shaking his head. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Roland in the 9th minute. Armando Roland made a great header on Menchu FC's corner, it was just that Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Arkadiusz Piatek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Piatek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Salvidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Piatek went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fermin Martinez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriele Batistuta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mano Hume. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armando Amarita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Armando Amarita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Camilo Salvidor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 32 minutes Menchu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armando Amarita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Salvidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mano Hume prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Gabriele Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Söderqwist in the 51st minute of play. Menchu FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Utopía Muerta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armando Roland took the corner. Arkadiusz Piatek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Arkadiusz Piatek sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Utopía Muerta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai was substituted for Anier Johans. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Severo Bermudo replaced Prudencio Ubelteso. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Firmo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Leonel Karlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Firmo in the 85th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Karlo scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mano Hume, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriele Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Menchu FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Utopía Muerta FC for a fine match.
