Arif Nihat Yıldıray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Kloots in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ferenc Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estación Q.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Virgilio Maraman in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Maraman came free, but Angelo Prior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Virgilio Maraman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Mincho came free, but Angelo Prior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Nihat Yıldıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Jauregui in the 25th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Estación Q. got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Jaunzuria. After a defensive mix-up in Estación Q.'s zone, Rafael Jauregui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Nihat Yıldıray came out of the goal and Rafael Jauregui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jozef Kloots hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Leys to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Mincho in the 46th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jozef Kloots's late challenge caught a Estación Q.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jozef Kloots helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christoffer Blomqvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Virgilio Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estación Q. were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after MILLONARIOS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgilio Maraman took the corner. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Mincho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Jauregui kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Estación Q. made a substitution. Ziya Özcakir replaced Aurelio Mincho. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Rafael Jauregui got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Estación Q. were awarded a corner. Virgilio Maraman went to the cornerflag to take it. Estación Q.'s Yuan Yuan Hong was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Prior in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, Estación Q.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Blomqvist came free, but Arif Nihat Yıldıray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MILLONARIOS FC made a substitution. Federico Errazquin replaced Rafael Jauregui. After a defensive mix-up in Estación Q.'s zone, Leonel Cantera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Nihat Yıldıray came out of the goal and Leonel Cantera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Tadeo Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Estación Q.'s goalkeeper Arif Nihat Yıldıray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Acuña hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Mon Ibaute. MILLONARIOS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
