In the 5th match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Johans to maneuver through the defense. Christoffer Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 9th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Utopía Muerta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Mano Hume had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Christoffer Blomqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 16th minute, Jozef Kloots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mano Hume was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 21 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Baladi Ribalta. In the 22nd minute of the match Armando Amarita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Prior showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 25th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, MILLONARIOS FC's Christoffer Blomqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mano Hume made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 39th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mon Ibaute didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Armando Amarita fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Utopía Muerta FC's protests and gave Armando Amarita a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Amarita hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Heitor Leys got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Utopía Muerta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MILLONARIOS FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arkadiusz Piatek made a kick off. In the 55th minute Christoffer Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mano Hume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Prudencio Ubelteso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor was substituted for Christoffer Blomqvist. After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Armando Amarita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Prior came out of the goal and Armando Amarita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai was substituted for Prudencio Ubelteso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Hibai in the 72nd minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Hibai in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute, MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mano Hume. Mano Hume yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. MILLONARIOS FC made a substitution. Federico Errazquin replaced Rafael Jauregui. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Hibai in the 88th minute of play. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Corredor in the 91st minute of play. Arkadiusz Piatek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Prior having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MILLONARIOS FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
