Bonifacio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Bermudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bonifacio Baumer came out and tried to block the shot, but Severo Bermudo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. Bonifacio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Bermudo in the 34th minute of the match. Utopía Muerta FC were furious when Cristo Leoncio was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Utopía Muerta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Enhebrator FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Hulberto. Alejo Marz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mano Hume made a huge save. Enhebrator FC made a substitution. Carlos Calvet replaced Sebastian Veron. 73 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mitt Back came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Calvet. Many of Enhebrator FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Enhebrator FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Utopía Muerta FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
