When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Julien Staffelbach put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Angelo Prior. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Staffelbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Eztebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Blomqvist went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, Julien Staffelbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Angelo Prior was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julien Staffelbach succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 52nd playminute. In the 56th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Eztebe. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. A sloppy throw-in by Jozef Kloots in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Wojciech Fiszer. Christoffer Blomqvist scored 4-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Eztebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Diaz in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Federico Errazquin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
