The audience was convinced that Alvaro Calvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joachim Karlsson was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Düsseldorf FC defense, Luca Crespo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelios Kopanaras. The Düsseldorf FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelios Kopanaras should have stopped the shot. Joachim Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Calvino's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Full Fart Framåt's Jean-Pierre Barda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stelios Kopanaras. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Joachim Karlsson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Düsseldorf FC's Dalmacio Olivar. But to his dismay, Dalmacio Olivar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 31st minute Teofilo Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Calvino in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Pierre Barda in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stelios Kopanaras saved Düsseldorf FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Jean-Pierre Barda put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stelios Kopanaras. Düsseldorf FC's Stelios Kopanaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Crespo in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Düsseldorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Crespo came free, but Stelios Kopanaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Salomon in the 37th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Pierre Barda was the one to do the kick off. When Düsseldorf FC's Dalmacio Olivar in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. John Ahlfors hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Full Fart Framåt's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Calvino came free, but Joachim Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Düsseldorf FC were awarded a corner. Ziemowit Czerwinski went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Düsseldorf FC's corner Qiu Lin Yi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joachim Karlsson quite easily take care of the ball. Joachim Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Olivar in the 66th minute of play. If Alvaro Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelios Kopanaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Cooke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derek Cooke kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alvaro Calvino struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Joachim Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Düsseldorf FC. In the 83rd minute Wilson Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelios Kopanaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Full Fart Framåt's goalkeeper Joachim Karlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Calvino. Despite this Joachim Karlsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
